I've always believed that real change happens when we see potential where others see problems. In Pakistan's women artisans, I see extraordinary talent, yet their skills remain largely invisible. These women, who make up more than 65% of the country's handicraft workers, are the custodians of our cultural heritage, creating masterpieces from their homes to support their families. Udaari, meaning "flight," is our platform to help them break free from limitations and soar.

Our mission goes beyond preserving crafts; it's about transforming lives. When an artisan earns her own income, she gains decision-making power, invests in her children's future, and inspires her community. This income can contribute up to 50% of her family's total income, significantly improving their economic and social standing. We are building an ecosystem where craft traditions thrive, and women become entrepreneurs and changemakers. Every thread they weave is a step toward economic empowerment.

I envision a future where these women are celebrated as global innovators, where their creativity drives Pakistan's position in the global economy. This is our "udaari," our flight toward a future where women's creativity translates into prosperity and autonomy. Every craft piece you choose becomes part of this larger story of empowerment and change.
